1. Introduction
Welcome to Korvax Yachts Dubai. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of korvaxyachtsdubai.com (the “Website”) and to every yacht or boat charter booked through us. By using the Website or making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or make a booking.
1. Who We Are
Korvax Yachts Dubai (“Korvax”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a yacht charter booking company based at Meydan Road, Nad Al Shiba 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We work as an authorised charter partner with licensed yacht owners and operators (“Operators”). We arrange your charter and are your main point of contact. The vessel itself is operated by an Operator with a licensed captain and crew.

2. Making a Booking
- You can request a booking through WhatsApp, phone, email or any contact method on the Website.
- A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it to you in writing (by WhatsApp or email) and we have received your deposit or payment.
- Your confirmation will state the yacht, date, departure time, duration, departure marina, number of guests, price and any add-ons.
- You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. The person who books is responsible for all guests in their group.
- Please give us accurate information. We are not responsible for problems caused by incorrect details.
3. Prices and Payment
- All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are charged per hour unless stated otherwise. Prices shown on the Website are starting rates and may vary by yacht, date, season and duration. A minimum number of hours may apply.
- Unless your confirmation says otherwise, the hourly rate includes the vessel, a licensed captain and crew, and the standard onboard amenities listed for that yacht.
- Add-ons such as catering, décor, water toys, live music, photography, extra hours and transfers are charged separately.
- Prices may be subject to 5% UAE VAT where applicable.
- A deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance must be paid before departure, or as stated in your confirmation. We will tell you which payment methods are available when you book.
- Prices are fixed only once your booking is confirmed in writing.
4. Cancellations, Changes and Refunds
If you cancel or change a confirmed booking, the following applies unless your confirmation states otherwise:
| When you notify us | What applies |
|---|---|
| 72 hours or more before departure | Full refund of the deposit, or free rescheduling subject to availability |
| 24 to 72 hours before departure | 50% of the booking total is non-refundable |
| Less than 24 hours before departure, or no-show | No refund |
- Cancellations and change requests must be sent to us in writing (WhatsApp or email).
- Rescheduling is subject to yacht availability and any difference in price.
- Refunds, where due, are paid using the original payment method and may take several working days.
5. Weather, Safety and Cancellation by Us
- The captain, the Operator or port authorities may delay, shorten, reroute or cancel a charter because of weather, sea conditions, mechanical issues or safety concerns. The captain’s decision on safety is final.
- If a charter is cancelled for these reasons before departure, you may choose a free reschedule or a full refund.
- If a charter has to be cut short after departure, we will offer a pro-rata refund or credit for the unused time.
- If a booked yacht becomes unavailable for any reason, we may offer a similar or better yacht at no extra cost, or a full refund if you prefer.
- We are not liable for any other costs you incur because of such changes (for example, restaurant bookings or travel).
6. Check-in, Timing and Extensions
- Please arrive at the departure marina at least 15 to 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
- Charter time starts at the scheduled departure time. If you arrive late, the charter time is not extended and no refund is given for the time missed.
- Extra time may be added on the day, subject to availability and the Operator’s schedule, and is charged at the hourly rate.
7. Guests and Capacity
- Every yacht has a maximum capacity. All guests, including children and infants, count toward it. We and the captain may refuse boarding if the limit would be exceeded, without refund.
- Please confirm your final guest count with us before the charter.
- Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Life jackets are provided on board, and child sizes depend on availability.
- If you or any guest has a medical condition, is pregnant, or has mobility limitations, please speak to your doctor and tell us before booking so we can advise.
8. Conduct on Board
- All guests must follow the captain’s and crew’s instructions. The captain has full authority on board.
- All guests must comply with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and Dubai, as well as marina and port rules.
- Alcohol may only be consumed where permitted by UAE law and the vessel’s licence. Illegal drugs, weapons, and any unlawful or dangerous behaviour are strictly prohibited.
- Smoking and vaping are allowed only in areas the captain designates.
- Swimming and the use of water toys are allowed only with the captain’s permission and are done at your own risk.
- The captain may refuse boarding to, or disembark, anyone who is intoxicated, abusive, or endangers others or the vessel. No refund will be given in this case.
9. Damage, Cleaning and Lost Items
- You are responsible for any loss or damage to the yacht or its equipment caused by you or your guests, beyond normal wear and tear.
- Additional cleaning charges may apply for excessive mess or stains.
- A security deposit may be requested for certain bookings.
- Please look after your belongings. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items, including items lost overboard.
10. Food, Décor and Third-Party Services
- Outside food, decorators, photographers, entertainers and other third-party providers must be approved by us in advance.
- Third-party providers, whether arranged by you or recommended by us, are responsible for their own services. We are not liable for their acts or omissions.
11. Liability
- Boating and water activities carry inherent risks. By boarding, you accept these risks on behalf of yourself and your guests.
- To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, Korvax and the Operators are not liable for injury, loss, delay, or damage to property arising from a charter, except where caused by our or their proven fault or negligence.
- Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected booking.
- Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
- We recommend that you arrange your own personal travel and accident insurance.
12. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural events, government or port authority orders, public health restrictions, accidents, technical failures or marina closures. In such cases we will offer a reschedule or refund as set out in Section 5.
13. Photos and Videos
We or the crew may take photos or videos during your charter for marketing purposes. If you do not want to appear in them, please tell us before departure and we will respect your request.
14. Website Use and Intellectual Property
- All content on the Website, including text, logos, images, videos and design, belongs to Korvax Yachts Dubai or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.
- We try to keep the Website accurate and up to date, but yacht details, photos, availability and prices may change. Images are for illustration and may differ slightly from the actual vessel.
- The Website may link to third-party services (such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and Vimeo). We are not responsible for their content or practices.
15. Privacy
How we collect and use your personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. The Terms in force at the time you make a booking apply to that booking.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. We will always try to resolve any complaint or dispute amicably first. If that is not possible, the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction.
